Navigate to your Management module and click on the Safety Inspection tool to access your project's Safety Inspection register.
Step 2: Click “START INSPECTION”
Click the "START INSPECTION" button.
Step 3: Select an inspection template
Select the template you would like to use for your inspection and click the "START" button.
Step 4: Add your inspection attendance
Add any contacts that will be performing the inspection with you by clicking the "YES" button.
You can then search all address book contacts and click to select them.
If attendees do not appear in the search result, click the "ADD NEW CONTACT" button at the bottom of the search list to add them as a new address book contact.
Once you have added all related contacts to the Address Book dialog, click the "ADD" button on the bottom-right hand side of the dialog to continue your inspection.
Note: all inspection attendees will be listed in the Safety Inspection pdf report once completed.
Step 5: Review each item
Mark each item in your Safety Inspection as "Acceptable", "Not Acceptable" or "Not Applicable (N/A)". After reviewing an item, you will then have the opportunity to add more details (depending on your answer).
Note: you must answer all questions in your Safety Inspection before it can be completed.
a) Acceptable
After marking an item as "Acceptable", you have the option to add a comment and a photo for your record.
b) Not Acceptable
When you mark an item as "Not Acceptable", additional information is required:
- Comments (compulsory)
- Risk (compulsory) - High/Medium/Low risk rating
- Assign to (compulsory)- assign one or more contacts from the same company to the item
- Due Date (optional) - a safety notice is created for items with due dates. Items are collated in to one Safety Notice per company
- Take a photo (optional)
c) Not Applicable (N/A)
When an item is marked as Not Applicable (N/A) the question is skipped. "N/A" will appear next to the item in your Safety Inspection report.
Step 6: Complete your inspection & sign off
Once you have answered all questions in your Safety Inspection, click the "SUBMIT REPORT" button.
You can then add any other comments and add your signature, which is included in the Safety Inspection pdf report.
Step 7: Safety Notices sent (for actionable items)
When you complete your inspection, Safety Notices are automatically created and sent for all actionable Safety Inspection items with due dates.
Items are collated in to one Safety Notice per company before they are dispatched.
